David Sahaydak, 60, of Bethlehem, PA passed away Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke's in Bethlehem. Born January 9, 1950 in Bethlehem he was the son of the late Mary (Leposa) and Alexander Sahaydak.
David was the beloved long-standing Property Manager at The Lutheran Manor in Bethlehem. Throughout his career, David worked tirelessly developing facilities and programs to improve the livelihoods its residents. David loved to cook and travel, but among his many passions he loved people and putting smiles on their faces. David was an extremely proud and devout alumnus of the University of Tennessee. His life's mission of caring and giving to those in need certainly can be traced to his desire to be the ultimate "Volunteer".
He will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Alexander Sahaydak, Jr. and wife Linda, nephews, Alexander M. and wife Gretchen and Timothy David and wife Tiffany, great nieces and nephew, Olivia, Sander, Layla and soon to be born Baby Sahaydak. David will also be missed by an extended family of friends and associates.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 11 AM at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A calling hour will be held from 10-11 AM in the funeral home. At David's request everyone is to show up in CASUAL ATTIRE.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in David's name to the Boys and Girls Club of Bethlehem 1430 Fritz Drive, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
