Robert W. "Bob" Parsh, 71, of Bethlehem Twp., died Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke's in Lower Saucon Twp. He was born in Chicago, IL; the son of the late Ira and Mildred (Stemm) Parsh.
He was the loving husband of Ruby (ODell) Parsh. They celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary this past September.
Bob worked for PaineWebber, Inc. in New York in Deficit Control for 40 years. He loved bowling, fishing, hunting, golfing and football. Bob also served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Ruby, daughters, Patricia, wife of Michael Cyktor of Marlboro, NJ; Susan Borino & her fiance, William Gombosi of Bethlehem; Karen, wife of Tom Green of Tennessee; son, Rob Parsh & his wife, Sherri of Phillipsburg, NJ; sisters, Shirley Toohey of Florida; Sylvia Raucci of Illinois; and his eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lola Ervin.
Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: American Lung Association, 2121 City Line Rd., Suite 212, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
