Robert "Bob" Korosecz, 69, of Allentown, died on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Fountain Hill; the son of the late Joseph and Irma (Pavel) Korosecz. He was the loving husband of JoAnn (Dunnavant) Korosecz. They celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary this past May.
Bob graduated from Fountain Hill High School and Bethlehem Business School.
He worked for Bethlehem Steel in the 48 inch Rolling Mill for 28 years and also worked for the Salisbury School District as a bus driver.
He served his country in the U.S. Army. Bob was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Allentown.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, JoAnn, son, Devan Smith & his wife, Alyssa of Walnutport; his granddaughter, Jaina, and his sister, Mary Ann, wife of Joseph Russel of Washington State. He was preceded in death by his sister, Greta Zavar.
Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Tuesday, March 02, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2354 Grove Rd. Allentown, PA 18109. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem.
Burial will follow at Nisky Hill Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3839 Adler Place,
Bethlehem, PA 18017 or to the church.
