Helen E. Polak, 87, of Bethlehem died Sunday, February 07, 2010 at Manor Care Health Services in Easton. Born in Cumberland County Helen was the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Kranyecz) Fleming and the wife of the late Joseph G. Polak.
Helen was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church. She had worked as a self employed Hairdresser and also as a Real Estate Agent at the former Eaton Realtors and the former Fitzpatrick Realtors, both in Bethlehem. Helen was an avid bingo player.
Helen will be lovingly remembered by her son Joseph G. Polak, Jr. and his wife Doreen of Lower Saucon Twp. and her daughter Joyce Brauchle and her husband Ronald of Easton. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Christopher Snyder and his wife Sara, Megan, Ashley & Joey Polak. Along with her husband and parents she is predeceased by a brother Raymond Fleming and a sister Margaret Green.
Funeral services will begin at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 at 10:15a.m. and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church at 11:00a.m. A calling hour will be held at the funeral home from 9:00a.m.-10:15a.m. on Saturday. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
